We have actually done the research here in SW Ontario, and taken it to yield the following year - replicated across 3 years. I could dig up the link, but the bottom line is - NO 2,4-D or dicamba in the fall on winter wheat... Just because you spray it on it in the spring doesn't mean its safe in the fall. If you want no yield loss, then straight glyphosate, or a tank-mix of glyphosate / Sharpen if you're after rosettes of gly resistant stuff. Yes its more expensive than 2,4-D, but its cheaper than a 5 or 10% yield hit. Ken |
