Subject: Re: Pull type ? Interesting . . . . .

central - east central Minnesota -

I think there is only one MFG that makes a pull type here in North America . . . . Most all snowblowers here, on a 3pt hitch, are push/backup operate. There are the types that mount on the front of a tractor, but it requires a undercarrage of sorts to mount it and run the PTO. The Fair / Wildcat brand is probably the heaviest duty one - Do they take more power in deep snow as compared to the 2 stage augar / fan type ? Guessing so, but nothing to back up my guess - experence . . . .  http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=76343&mid=545938#M545938

I do think the single stage blower types use more power then a two stage type when in snow . . . .
