My mid-September harvested fields look bad, or impressive depending on your point of view. Got some cereal rye competing with the volunteer corn now, I'm sure the vol. corn is getting some comments, but so far avg. around 250 so it won't cut too deep, although won't hate the first frost. Absolutely like to see it germinate now vs. next year and no-till drilling cereal rye also helps get more kernels to do their thing now.
