It isn't a fad crime it is a Lazy Fad Media who have no idea what they are talking about combined with hysterical idiots on social media.  There is no clown epidemic, I am sure there are some kids screwing around now that the morons in the media are trying to make something out of nothing.  Put this right down next to razor blades in Halloween Candy, complete BS.  But lets do a story on it every year like it actually happens rampantly.

Same goes with the cop shootings, there is no uptick in them but the media now scours the country every day hoping one happened so they can do hour after hour about it and maybe just maybe rile up a good old riot somewhere, then they can cover that too.  We had two recently, a white guy they tried to serve a warrant on that they shot, another a black guy that turned and pointed a gun at a trooper then ran.  Second didn't end up dead or even getting shot so no story there.

Instead of just watching/reading news stories and eating them up think about how and why they are even reporting on it and then remember these idiots NEVER get all the facts straight.  They are an entertainment business that lives on ratings just like everything else in print and on TV.
