Eastern Shore of MD | Tried the insecticide route this year - sprayed on consecutive weeks when counts were high and apparently killed what was out at that time but local researcher is doing a study and she checked this field and we only have 47% infestation, LOL, so apparently that was not successful. Best advice is timely harvest as not much else seems to work. Heard of a guy cutting his field and then wind rowing it to gather up all the plants laying flat on the ground then combining it again and he gained something like another 5 bu/ac!
