I have two bins. Both are 40 ft high, smooth wall, 55 degree hopper. One has a 6 ft vertical Rocket style aeration tube and the other has a 24" diameter x 12 ft long horizontal tube. In the case of the horizontal tube, it takes ~180 bu to fill to the top of the tubes. Does the grain beneath/beside the tube get any air or do I have to make sure the first dump goes in dry?
