Subject: Snowblower power requirements for different designs??

just a tish NE of central ND
I am curious how much difference there is on power requirements from one type of snowblower to another type/design.I use a Luckey manufacturiong blower(only one I have ever used) and it seems to take a fair amount of power to run. I believe it is refered to a single stage type. It's one rotor auger combined with the blower padles all in one peice. Will a snow blower such as a FARM KING brand 2 stage design use less power and handle as much snow?I seem to see Farm Kings on some fairly small traactors sometimes. I can darn near kill my 4450JD with the Luckey blower. Is there a difference in power requirments in designs?
