I have a guy coming next week to redo a waterway,,was wondering whether to try to seed it to regular waterway mix yet this fall or to just seed rye to it as soon as he is done and see how it looks in spring.The last 100 yards drops pretty hard and I don't want to get a 3-6 inch rain without something green in it.Will rye last more than one season?
