Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border | I had the same thing happen to me 30 or so years ago. So of course, I did a test. Dropped corn from a 90 foot silo. and guess what, you could catch it with your bare hands and it didn't even hurt.
So, next test. load it into the spud gun, same effect. at 50 feet. Last test was load a cup full into the tire bead blaster and shoot it at my old pickup windshield from 50 feet. No damage.
Got closer and closer and added more pressure. Never DID get it to break a windshield. Really would like to see the physics on what it would take to make a single kernel of corn break a window.
I think it would require gun powder something stronger. |
