Subject: RE: USDA Illinois Soybean Average is too High

Rushville,IL
I am in West Central Illinois and beans here are yielding very irratic. There are some great yields and some average.
I am on light soils and averaged 60 last year, my best ever. I was expecting 65 this year, but only averaging 54 and 75% done.
I hope the rest are better but I doubt they will be. Most of mine lodged badly during early pod fill.
