Southwestern Minnesota | I had a one year free trial on a new vehicle that I purchased. I like listening to it in my vehicle. The year was up and they called and sent letters. I called them and told them I wanted to cancel and that it was too expensive. After a little discussion, they cut the subscription rate in half and said they wanted my credit card number to subscribe and be set up for automatic renewal. I said no, I wanted to mail a check and they said, no it had to be on the credit card and I said to cancel it then. Then they said they would send me an invoice and I could mail a check. I mailed a check and haven't heard anything since and continue to enjoy the satellite radio with all the channels I had on the trial. My take is that they really want to sell subscriptions and are pretty willing to deal. I like listening to it and so if you want to keep it, I'd call and talk to a real person and see what you can negotiate. | |
