Subject: How to get tin sheets out of a corn field?

Chebanse, IL.....

I'm guessing some readers have experienced this before. Looking for ideas on "best way" to get tin building sheets out of a corn field so they don't get wound up in the combine which will be there any day now. I assume it just takes lots of people on the ground to try & work ahead of the combine? Tinwork was blown out across about 20-30A by an early summer "wind event" classified as an "act of God". Not sure who gets to assign such responsibility. Certainly someone higher up than me.

Any suggestions?

It was suggested a skidloader w/grapples to pick up sheets after they are thrown from in front of the combine into the now-harvested rows? Does that sound plausible?

Thanks
