Subject: RE: Blocking traffic

OntarioCanuck - 10/5/2016 08:48

Returning home last night we came up on 2 transports who were running side by side at the same speed and not allowing another transport to pass.
This of course stopped us from passing too and before they split up to allow traffic by a couple other vehicles were held up too.
They were travelling at 110 km/hr when we caught up to them with our cruise at 113 but at one time they slowed to as little as 98 and much of the time they were around 100.
Speed limit is 100

We were in this holding pattern for at least 30 km and they gave up their game after the transport they were blocking when we first came up to them pulled off at a service centre and a few kilometres after that they came upon other transports travelling slower than them and the right hand lane transport had to slow and left hand lane transport crawled on ahead which allowed some of the cars following to pass it on the right and get in front of it and continue.

So we got identifying truck numbers and licenses from the 2 blocking trucks and are trying to decide what to do with the info.

thinking of passing on our info to DoT and the 2 companies.
Any thoughts?

We did not get identity of transport that pulled off into service centre but think he was victim of their action not part of it.

Did you give them the brights, flash them ?
