Redickville, Ont | Well that makes sense why it's not working. Baleage is just not going to help then. Wondered about putting boron on foliage before I cut to help get the nitrates to flow in plant better but seems like a lot extra work and cost. I manage it pretty well by mixing dry hay with wet hay and if I have a good year I store some dry hay to mix with another years where I have more trouble. Think just keeping pregnant cows on it and not adjusting there diet to quickly help keep nitrates from spiking in there blood stream causing abortion. I get everything tested last 6 years and that's helping a lot. Dad never did much with it until he got into trouble but think thats been key. | |
