agfarms - 10/5/2016 09:10 Seems this thread is common. Feeders in Iowa not having good results with southern cattle. Maybe guys in Iowa should avoid them.

It's not fair to the guys that do a good job, but we have shied away from SE cattle after buying three loads of heifers that supposedly came out of a graded sale and were preconditioned.  Averaged over 10% death loss on those three loads, vet said they probably never saw a needle in their life. We did fire the broker and have warned others.
