Get it as dry as possible and have at it!! Done it a bunch of times. Put the spout on haverster high as possible.

Did make a bracket to hold a deflector from a silo blower pipe, that helped in little wetter conditions but never a problem with straight deflector in dry. Couldn't see a difference in hay after.

You might see damage if the windrows haven't been moved the whole time though.
