North Central Illinois | I see where you are coming from. I have no idea if it was the intent of the landowner to hamstring his heirs or if he really thought he could look out for his tenant and guarantee him tenancy for as long as he wanted to be there. I doubt there was any malice toward the heirs but you never know. He would of been better off writing a very long term lease I would think. The best the tenant can hope for is a buyout of some kind. | |
