Hoegemeyer 8469. Excellent plant health. strong roots and stalk with excellent green snap tolerance. Stays green late into the season. Drys closer to 113 day for me but is 114 day hybrid. will be a little taller with more leaf area than R38 but have the characteristics you are looking for with a little more yield. would be a totally different genetic package but maintain the qualities you are looking for.
