I think farming will become more of a desk job than an out in the field job.  Some stuff will become automated where you won't need a steering wheel holder, but the equipment you will need will eat up the cost that you used to pay for hired help with.  Will have to be able to pinch pennies even more now than ever in the past, have to stay on top of the markets.  Going to have to squeeze every bushel out of every acre and micromanage everything on a grid as far as fertilizer, chemical, variety, etc.
