deep SW On.
For me ,I thought more changes in last 10 yrs.than previous 40---future will be even more paper work,rules,regulations----marketing and financials will be biggest obstacle as commercial farms take a hughe amount of capital---in my area ,massive change of land ownership as most LL's are elderly and don't expect there heirs will rent out a $ mil. farm for $15 or 20K a yr........buyers may be investment companies as how many farms can one buy at $7-10k an acre-----for cash grain farmers it may go back too full time job and cropping after hrs......Pre last big grain run up not many guys below 55 just cash cropped unless they inherited or was given family land...grains have had 10 yrs. of best times ever ,history says next 20 might be as tough as these were good.....its all a guess ,now i would like to know who the next President will be--as a Canadian last night I was impressed by both guys running for VP
