E.Central MN | They may agree to a farm tap in order to gain access for the pipeline, but from our experience they really don't want to put one in. They'd much rather just deliver gas to a large city distribution network than to deal with the maintenance of taking care of a bunch of individual users with limited seasonal demand. Our customer charge was raised from $12 to $45/month since our small grain dryer's seasonal use put our peak monthly usage into the light industrial user category. We're paying a pretty high price for convenience. | |
