Portland, ND | There is a pile at the local elevator that is half uncovered today. I would bet money that the uncovered portion is the 10% section of the pile, and the covered is the 12-13%
A few years ago, a coop near me piled very dry beans (8-9%) on the ball diamond. The pile was only about 150,000 bushels. It rained on the pile, and they hauled back in 6,000 more bushels than they dumped there. | |
