West Tennessee
I'm glad you asked this but don't know the answer. When the liquor store guy asked me what kind of wine I liked and I said "ever hear of Boone's farm?" he didn't even smile or anything. :-)

We have been to some wine tastings at some winery's and it seems like everything tastes great and we get some bottles and then get home and some of them....... not so much. Yes like vinegar. Thought maybe it was from riding in the car or something. Like I said though we do like sweet wines. I figure we're doing something wrong in the storage or opening or chilling (or lack there of). Even some of the wines bought locally are the same way. We know a certain one is good but then it's terrible trying to choke it down. Hate to waste. :-)

Maybe some of the connoisseurs on here (if there are any) will help out. I know I NEVER have this problem with whiskey.
