A man down here is doing a weaning trial comparing purina starter with one from the feed mill that is around 25-30% cheaper per ton.... Performance determines value so we will see what the result is! I will pass along any info I hear.
I've never fed silage, do they get some of that when they're still on the cows? Or are you introducing that now?
