+1. We switched from BCBS to Christian Healthcare Ministries in April. We have better coverage with CHM and we are saving about $1300 a month for a family of four. Had a claim with CHM only two days after signing up. It takes a while for the claims to work through their system. You either have to pay your bills or set up a payment plan, send CHM copies of the bills, and wait for them to send you a reimbursement check. The logistics on our end is more complicated than with BCBS. For the kind of savings we are realizing it is well worth it. |
