While things aren't great, I think a lot of us are in a shock as to how much these prices have tumbled in the short amount of time. I sold my calves and looking things over I'll be alright. I'm just glad I didn't order that new pickup. The folks I feel for are those that bought the $2700-$3000 bred heifers. If things don't turn around it will be awhile before those girls pay for themselves.
