I thought the discussion was about whether or not to plant wheat after beans, not whether or not to till the field.  

 

Have you considered the possiblity that he's right.....from what you just posted it doesn't look like you've been making any progress doing it the way you are.   Be careful about drinking the kool-aid at every meeting you go to.  You've got to grow a crop, all the other "this method is so much superior"  stuff is secondary. 

 

Bottom line though, there's a lot to be said for what John and Don have posted.    I'm not inclined to have someone else dictating production decisions.  If they want to farm, they had that option but they decided to employ me hopefully due to my abilities and capabilities, they need to let me utilize them for everyone's benefit.
