China has wanted to sit at the table and be one of the world big financial boys.  The reason they have been buying gold hand over fist for the past several years is to be viewed with enough gold reserves to be accepted.  They now have enough gold.

China and Russia have been settling their accounts between them for a year or more with out using the dollar.  The heck with the USA.

If US lost the world reserve status no body would want the dollar and it would in words come flooding home to us.  Dollar value would decrease/crash and our enemies would be ticked to death. 

Easier to destroy the US financially than with out right war. It just take time.
