Subject: RE: Hefty Soybean seed?

South Dakota
We're planting syngenta now, simply because we've got a seed bean contract, but when we bought them they were usually $10/unit less than anything else. They were something like $45 for 140k RR2 and $35 for Liberty. Now they have extend beans too. You can get them in 140k bags or bulk. If you buy in bulk, they're even cheaper. I used to think they were like Kirkland from Costco or the generic cherios at the grocery store, but when you pay attention to yield trial results, they win a lot of them. Last I checked heftys was trying to go east, I don't know how Far East they've built stores yet, maybe Illinois?
