I've seen a lot of cover crop field day sites that had 1-2 tons of litter applied that looked like they should have narrowed up their spreader passes 5 ft or so this year.
edit - Andy - are you planting barley again this year? Think we're going to plant double our acres, chase 1/2 with a 1.8-2.0 bean and silage acres on the other 1/2.
