LG 5618 is a good defensive hybrid that can really yield in a good year. We plant a lot of it in NC Kansas. We also really like Golden Harvest 07V88. It's an older cheap hybrid that does very well in tougher environments. Golden Harvest 07F23 is also an excellent hybrid if you don't mind paying for it. Had it almost make 200 this year.
