Illinois | I currently rent a Culligan softener and am tired of the problems. Our water is never right for very long and it's been four weeks since they were out last and it's goofed up again. Normally they come out twice a year for issues and it's always a softener issue. This will be the third time.
My neighbors have the same hard water that I do and don't have anywear near the issues with their softener systems that I have.
I would like to buy one and install it after harvest. What kind does everyone else like? I am also thinking of something else for drinking water maybe reverse osmosis.
There are four of us that live here; my wife and I, our 3 year old son and a newborn daughter.
