West of Broken Bow | Several years back, while visiting the Cleburne Antique Mall, I came across a very early black and white photo of a steam locomotive. In the photo the engineer and fireman or stoker posed in front or beside the locomotive. According to the wordage on the front, it was taken in Cleburne. Don't recall the date shown. I should have purchased it then. A couple weeks passed and decided to call and check to see if the photo was still there. It was long gone.
The mall closed in recent years. That's where I found and purchased an old postcard of the Santa Fe passenger station that no longer exists.
