Subject: RE: Buy land or stocks?

south central WI
Don't buy land, only stocks. That way there is less competition for me in buying land. Haha. I'm mostly land, but that is mostly because I don't have enough money left over for other investments. Paid some off recently by selling a rental house. I should enjoy the freedom, but more land is available. My goal is x acres, so I can retire and use the rental income. I do have some Roth and sep Ira's from younger. They may go up and down, as rental income does. It all depends on you also. If you buy land as a retirement income source, are you planning on living off rent or selling it? Will you be able to sell it? There is little to no emotional attachment to stocks. Land is different to most.
