Floyd County, Iowa | As much as a person would want to, I'm afraid that using a gun (actually firing it) would not be good unless they have lethal weapons and are trying to use them against you. Can only use lethal force in a situation where life is at stake.
Same with a "warning shot". Must be able to prove where the bullet/projectile actually went.
Learned that 40 years ago when I first got my CCW permit.
edit: This is for Iowa, I don't know what other states' laws say, nor about the Stand Your Ground laws.
But I do like this.
I copied this from the internet when Ferguson, Missouri, was a hot button event.
