Subject: Millennials again

Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS

Liberty Mutual Insurance runs an ad in which a young (probably 20 something) lady talks about her car named "Brad." Her statement: "You owned your car for four years. You named it Brad. The two of you had been through everything together: two boyfriends, three jobs, and then you totaled him."

What struck me was the idea that this person had been through three jobs in four years. If my non Common Core math is correct that amounts to just over one year per job (1.33 yrs to be exact). Is this the common tenure per job of the younger generations? I realize this statement is made in the course of trying to sell insurance, but the demographic they are trying to reach is obviously the younger generation. Does this narrative actually speak to that demographic?
