sc ks | The "first million" post below got me wondering. I buy land but also equal amount of mutual funds. I am young and didn't get in on buying cheap land....stocks make me nervous with the economy seemingly propped up w govt debt. But over time stocks have made more money and have no property taxes. So which do you think will appreciate or depreciate more in the next 5, 10, 30 years? Land is more fun for me since I farm but its going down in value from few years ago, about 25% here. And imo not done going down. | |
