Asb - Several years ago there was an armadillo(confirmed by picture) as road kill in central Illinois farther north than Robinson.
I'm told someone was on a trip and found one that was roadkill. They threw it in the back of their truck, went home and put it in the road in front of a friend's house in Marshall. Caused all kinds of excitement.
