Subject: My son's combine debut - WARNING! Gleaners with orange wheels

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251

My middle son turned 16 and is very good help around the farm, so we bought a second R62 Gleaner combine at a sale with the idea being that he runs it. We hauled it home and gave it the required orange wheel improvement.

He hooked the head up, adjusted it for corn, greased it, and off to the field we went. We each cut a hopper full to test everything out. The only screw up was he accidentally put the rotor drive gearbox into neutral while greasing it.  When we started combining, lots of ears were going in the front, but nothing came out the back! We put it in gear and no more problems.

Beautiful day to spend in the field teaching your kid something he will use hopefully for 50+ more harvests........
