There is a 1/4" X 1 1/4" flat iron running between the top of the bearing holders. It usually breaks when the bearings go bad.
This shaft is the one the electric clutch pulley is on. You can reach the flat iron from either side. With a good flash light you might be able
to see it from the right side but it's hard to tell if it's broke without wiggling it.
If you are smelling burnt rubber in the cab (especially) when you throw the thrashing lever in gear it is the triple belt going to the electric clutch
that's getting smoked. | |
