Kansas | His concern is that since he's had it and I've farmed it it's had a failed corn crop, a failed double crop milo crop, one good bean year, one ok bean crop, two ok wheat crops, and one excellent wheat crop which made 75bu, but that was after the failed corn and we determined that it did so well because the corn failed before it could use it's N up then with more added onto the wheat it flourished. He's just convinced that wheat will always make something and that the no-til and the other crops are just wasting his money and he could care less about what no-til can do. He's as bad as some around here who say they'd cash rent their ground but only for wheat and no no-til. I know what I'm trying to do is right because I'm out here attending to it. But I understand what you are all saying, so when it dries up, I'll have to decide. I also think it's silly to break our total no-til for just one field, even though it may not seem like that big a deal. | |
