Northcentral Kansas | I think the wood wall that iseedit was referring to is the basement wall. Be sure to well insulate that wall because that exposed wall is going get cold. In your situation I might be inclined to follow his advise and put dirt as high as the bottom of the windows sloping down to the door. I was cautioned to not backfill all the way up until the floor joist were in place. I also used a vibra packer to not have settlement in the future. | |
