I have wondered if we could mitigate some degree of ocean level rise by lowering the amount of fresh water going to the ocean. Recharging underground aquifers and building reservoirs are two ways we could 'store' it. Heard a talk last year that the wastewater flow from Los Angeles would be the 5 largest river in the US....and it all goes out to the ocean. Pretty sure Israel could teach us a thing or two on this.
