1. The attorney would be gone AFTER the error was discovered....if it was, and probably after it would be too late to handle at minimum financial cost. 2. If names were changed many years after the documents were prepared, only an abstract would highlight those. 3. The original attorney could easily have been superceded several times since the preparation of the original document..........and therefore the current one would not necessarily know all the ramifications of the prior documents.......and therefore would have to be extra special careful, just to make sure all documents ahead of him had in fact been prepared and recorded properly.
