West central missouri | We had the same problem about 10 years ago. Used short wing walls (9' basement walls), then put in curved landscaping stone wall that tapered from 9' down to 1' as the ground as the ground recedes. Has not shifted or settled at all. We did go to the work of compacting the gravel base with a jackhammer with a foot we built. We are in west central MO if you want to see it, or I can try to post a picture. e-mail should be open. | |
