Be careful, these folks all too often have an agenda and possibly a finished story and they are just looking for sound bites from the 'real' folks they interview. The IL pork producers decided to play nice with the Chicago tribune and it turned out all bad. It's my thought that these groups really have no following or political traction, but we actually do. The more we talk about a potential problem (or usually a non-problem), the more it helps the 'anti' groups visibility. I can't say this is the only way we should respond, but most of the time we are not helping bring an issue in to the public square for discussion. Usually we just furthering a political agenda. I'd like to be wrong, but they all sound nice.

Frankly we need just one short video of wayne pacelle (hsus) beating his dog.
