 Wheatley, Arkansas | A JD 8570 IMO would be a very good tractor, especially with that few hours on it. I only have 8770-8870's , but other than the engine and HP, they are basically the same tractor. You will find it is a good riding tractor, with most of the controls right where they need to be. The cabs are nice for their time, although maybe a little on the small side.
The main areas to look IMO would be the gudgeon for wear, the steering cylinders for slack, and any hoses that are in close together. Seems that the steering hoses give us the most trouble, but they aren't expensive to replace. | |
