NW Central Ohio | ...same here. A deceased friend of mine's wife stopped one day, and wondered if she could compensate me for some damages her daughter caused when a tie rod on her car broke and sent her through the ditch into the edge of my field. I told her I was more worried about the damages to her daughter's car and her well being than I was about the little bit of corn she knocked down. I wouldn't ever take money from someone who had something unfortunate happen to them like that. Now...if the car had caught on fire and burned the field up....it might have been something to investigate with her insurance company..(Or mine?)....
