we started last Thursday and then got rained for the whole weekend. Starting back up again Monday morning. We start when the corn is in the 40's and plant is still green. Once it gets to black layer, the corn seems to dry out real fast. There seems to be very little corn loss under the feed rolls when we chop it wetter verses drier.
