There's a farm we have rented for a long time which I have tried using 0-180 degree headings from 3 different corner posts that probably date back far enough that guys who fought the Civil War set them.  I still haven't figured out how to autosteer that farm and not end up with a wedge on one side or the other, no matter how straight it looks in the plat book.
